I really enjoy your writing, your one of my favorite bloggers at the moment, alongside Scott and Tyler. Regarding The Court of the Red Tsar, have you read Sashenka by Simon Sebag Montefiore? It is beautiful and evokes life in the Soviet Union well. True to history and romantic at the same time and a page turner, too. I felt sad when I read the dread words The End.
